Guest homer132
Im new in laptops and lcd displays. Am I missing the correct driver for the lcd display or is it just not possible to get a refreshate above 60 ?? Have the Dell xps gen2. Would think they have thought of installing a fast lcd. any ideas??
Bill
I would think that would be fast enough, they (Dell and others) usually lock it at 60. The screen in that laptop might do 75, but as to how to successfully force it, I am not sure, I have heard its possible to get that on my laptop, but never tried it. (you should try googling 75 refresh rate on XPS Gen2 or something) You really should not expect anything higher than 75, also, unlike desktop monitors, you really don't need a 100+ refresh rate for an LCD to look good. The ultrasharp screens already look good enough the way they are, couple that with a fast card and your good to go.
