Guest Biio Posted October 1, 2005 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 I have a Dell 9300. I have noticed that my Pentium M 1.6mzh. Does not do it for me, I need more power to run my App's. I was looking on google and other webpages. I can't see any where on how to upgrade the CPU. Your machine should be able to go upto the 2.13Ghz P-M You could fit it your self, if you were fearless. It would mean removing the old CPU and then replace with new one. The laptop would need to be pulled apart, not sure to what extend, might be just the Keyboard or more involved. This way will void any warreny. You can pick up CPU's on Ebay in the laptop section. Try Dell first for an upgrade. WARNING, pulling your machine apart is not good for your health, you do so at your own risk.
