I can very safely conclude that the go7800 won't be very far away from release. This I would guess will be a slower clocked go7800 GTX probably the same as it desktop equivalent. nVidia are now making the desktop GPU's based on Mobile parts to keep power usage down. I would guess this would perfrom as fast as a go6800 Ultra but consume only a fraction of the power. Battery life and grunt all in one. Here is what I reckon will happen with the PCI_ID for it: NVIDIA_G70.DEV_0098.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800" nVidia seem to be on a roll, can ATI bring out the Mobility X1x00 series quick enough to counter this recent nVidia onslaught. What ever happened to their Mobility X800 XT Platinum Edition as promised from Clevo ? Never been a better time to get a lappy, with this much power who needs desktops.
