SLI graphics. SATA II supported 5 USB 2.0 ports (more is always better) Cons: This beast weighs in @ 14.55lb and is huge for a laptop. Battery life will be VERY short, the price once pays for all this power. WSXGA+ screen maximium, WUXGA would have been MUCH nice on a 19" screen. I'd doubt the laptop will even be able to go in SLI mode while on Battery. Battery is probably a waste of time, probably handy as a UPS enough time to save data before it's drained. This will be the fastest notebook on the planet when released. :) Edited March 10, 2006 by ®®®

mobilenvidia
Eurocom have the the SLI 2xgo7800 GTX as an upgrade option from a single go7800GTX. Now does this mean the go7800 GTX's are on seperate cards ? Eurocom does charge nearly $5000 for the machine with 2GB RAM/SLI/100GB HD but only ML40 CPU PCTorque this comes to a much more reasonable $3500 for the same setup as above but with ML-44 CPU
Guest TheRealist
Looking good , however when Nvidia gets there Go7900 out and AMD gets there mobile tuirion 64 X2 out , things are goin to start heatin up in the notebook world. and therefoe I say Verily unto the multitude of notebook users that prices due to compitition will drop and the multitude did let all know through the forums there rejoicing .however the unjust of notebook assemblers through slow of mind did hesitate and refuse to see the writing of the hand on the wall of the marketplace and were smitten with the plague of "chapter shutdown" through the end of time.(serves them right) TheRealist
Bill
I hope you can run that thing in non-SLI mode, 4 monitors will be pimp...
mobilenvidia
Well spoken :) On the horizon is the anti-trust, Vista shall change the landscape for ever, we shall be blightened into DX10 and the new evil technology that comes with it. The pockets of the masses shall be emptied to line the pockets of the few, all for progress. Thowst newly purchased SLI go7800 GTX's shall be left in the dust as the go8x00 DX10 shall leave all others in it's wake. 3DMark 2k7 will render the go7x00 a slow distant memory. There is but one thing we can do against this.... Rage against the machine

Bill
With these things, instead of the regular grilled cheese sandwitch cooking, you can now cook extra large steaks well done while running 3Dmark 06. :) :)
