luluday
So far, I just noticed the Powermizer by nvidia supports the dynamic power-management technology for both the GPU and the notebook system, and they also have some toolkit allowing the user to pick "balanced, max perf, max power" options. But is there any way for the developer to scale the GPU frequency from the user end by some APIs? I am so eager to have any help or suggestion of this issue! thanks
®®®
There is (changing frequency aka OverClocking) as seen in various programs: - RivaTuner - NVTweak: http://nvtweak.laptopvideo2go.com - ATI Tray Tool, which also is able to change NV GPU frequency You may need to register at NV's developer (developer.nvidia.com) site to get in touch and unveil the full potential of NV GPU API programming :) Oh and i see you got an IBM. It would be nice if you run the NERD tool and post the logfile.
luluday
Thanks. But the listed tweak tools have no source codes, right?
