n4v1n
I have the nvidia purevideo decoder on my toshiba g25 running MCE 2005. When I play a DVD such as gladiator through MCE, the fast paced scenes have small horizontal lines on the screen causing it to look choppy, like during the batle scenes. The purevideo codec is the only one I have installed on my system. Im running the 84.25 drivers (its a go6600). Is there any setting I should change to get rid of this or is it my driver etc.?? Thanks. Edited April 13, 2006 by n4v1n
sn0wl
Try enabling/disabling VMR in nVidia Control Panel ->Video Overlay Settings.
Fabrice Roux
One of the helders should pin a video stuttering or a mini FAQ. It becomes the 3rd reason of slowdowns after viruses and spywares... :)

LSudlow
When I get stuttering or lag with video, I can usually solve it by completely uninstalling the driver in the Windows Control Panel, then reinstalling again. Sometimes all the extra junk slows things down.
