DeathmanRS
Have just tested the driver and it runs great on my system... Runs even better as 92.91... I've got about 50 Pts. more in 3D Mark 06 and about 89 Pts. more in 3D Mark 05...
The_Lead_Factor
Lol...50-90 points in a synthetic benchmark doesn't really say s*** about a driver, Especialy when the driver has a profile for the benchmark. mobilenvidia
Download fixed :) Was out of town and couldn't get the driver uploaded to the server. I have made the backup server the main server and we're away and laughing again. Apologies for the wait, just bad timing for this driver to pop up as soon as I went away for a couple of days. Computer Potato
These Drivers have problems for me. I was using the following in a *.reg file someone posted. I could use both control panels but now it does not work so well. ----- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies] "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001 "CplGroupUIPolicy"=dword:00000002 "SedonaDisable"=dword:00000002 "TaskbarUIPolicy"=dword:00000003 ------ I can't enable overclocking. Trying to make changes in old control panel will also cause my laptop to immediately reboot (Fixed-Ratio). The same rebooting problem also has occurs in the new Control Panel. I have gone back to 91.33 and all works fine again.
zipper
Seems to work, but using the new CP is tedious.
zipper
Forgot to mention: Slowdown temperature shows 0C - is there a reg key to set it back to 105 where it should be?
zipper
Enabled the old CP, slowdown temp seems to be OK there. Best to forget that new bloat.
Fabrice Roux
You might want to get used to it... is Vista time my friend.
zipper
As long as the slowdown temperature doesn't work, I'll forget it. Imagine how well the GPU works as the driver thinks it's overheating by 70 degrees... at least seen some nice popups.
Fabrice Roux
This parameter should be locked to the 70 / 110 °C range... whatever value you enter should be clamped to either limit.
zipper
I can't write anything to the new CP; reset to defaults offers 0C and with the old CP 105C. That's it.
Charlie T.
I just installed it. But found that there is nowhere I can switch back to the traditional CP. Is it being removed from this version?
Fabrice Roux
The old CP is meant to disappear... so get used to not having it around.
uncajesse
does this version have the "nVidia Driver Helper service uses ever-increasing ammounts of CPU" bug, like the 96.xx - 97.xx series?
Viper114
So, would these drivers be better than the 93.81 drivers I'm currently using? Or are there problems with this one that should just have me stick with 93.81? EDIT: Well, I decided to give them a whirl, anyway. Honestly, these are a bit better than the 93.81 drivers, but I don't see how anyone can say the CP is different. The one between 93.81 and these ones is the same, for me anyway.
