Doesn't say if these are the WHQL PhysX drivers Nivdia was meant to release 12 August...

Are there two setups included or are you forced to install the grphic driver together with the PhysX software?

there are two separate setups. I used inf form 177.79 and everything seems OK

How can they even call what that server has an "internet connection?" I get better upload speeds with my cable broadband connection!

Works much better, except that it is J*va based.

I just extracted the new PhysX drivers from the installer and used it with my modded 177.79 installation, no problems so far. demos are up and running quite good.

will install 177.83 as soon as we get a modded inf.

Good to you, I have 8400M GS and it says in the physX properties that there's no acceleration and I can't pick the Geforce PhysX.

Do you have the minimum 256MB of VRAM? If you don't then you can't enable it :)

I wasn't aware of that fact, I guess Turbo-Cache doesn't matters here, because I have 4 GB Geil. Thanks for the information!!! :)

So will these work(as in Physix) in full with a 8600mGT on a Dell 1520?

DOESN'T SUPPORT MOBILE GPU? I HAVE 8800M GTS, AND IT SAYS NO COMPATIBLE DRIVER FOUND.

IS THERE ANY MODIFIED VERSION?

Ahhh..good point,

GeForce Driver v177.83 with PhysX support

This driver supports NVIDIA® GeForce® 8-series, 9-series, and 200-series desktop GPUs, including the newly released GeForce 9800 GTX+, 9800 GT, and 9500 GT GPUs. The driver adds support for NVIDIA® PhysX? acceleration on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory. NVIDIA PhysX System Software v8.08.01 is automatically installed with this driver package.

Guess mobile is not supported...

might be some confusion with the last 2 posts. first download the driver here, then get the modded inf from 177.79 (untill the inf for this one is done) and replace the inf in this driver. uninstall old driver. reboot into safe mode. run driversweeper and reboot. install this driver. then get the physx driver from the physx forum and install that. this all being done it should work. hope it helps.

PhysX doesn't work on my 8600M GS (256MB, 16 processors) with Vista x64 SP1. But the rest works really great. for the first time i notice that it underclocks the GPU when it is not needed^^.

Doesn't work. Oon nvidia.com the mpbile cards are listed as supporting CUDA. Thus they should support PhysX if they have enough VRAM. So it should run on my system but it doesn't :)
NVIDIA PhysX System Software v8.08.01 is automatically installed with this driver package.
Nope! I tried installing the driver directly from Nvidia and it did not install PhysX. But there was the installer.

Can somebody tell how to get PhysX working? Maybe some changes needed in the PhysX part as with the inf for the driver?
