Thanks to Chupacabra and EofT, who were moments apart reporting this latest addition to the 185 series, which is WHQL.

It's too bad the Quadro FX release of 185.85 can't detect my 570M...

Has anyone else had problems with these drivers?

I'm running a ThinkPad T61p, Quadro FX 570M, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz...

PS: If there's a more appropriate place for help with these drivers, please point me in the right direction.

With a quick glance they have no mobile Quadro support - you can install via have disk method until the modified inf is out. I'll probably do it tomorrow.

Installed fine on my Acer with a 9600GS. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Edit: seem they changed the powermizer registry keys? "EnableCoreSlowdown" set to 1 by default.

should I upgrade form .81 to these ? is there much of a difference ?

Looks like the only change from .81 is a Company of Heroes fix.

I'll probably wait for a Dox version, depending on local lazyness levels.

I guess you didn't see his post about not doing them any more..

I think these gave me about the same 3DMark06 score that the .81 drivers did.

Finally!!! No more AERO issues. W7 RC maximises and minimises windows properly!!! Amazing drivers form NVIDIA :) . My FULL HD screen @ 1920 works flawlessly :P . Great job NVIDIA! I knew it wasn't 7 :) .

This is not working for me. It only provides me the option to install the HD audio, but not the display driver???

I completely uninstalled the previous driver, rebooted - checked device manager and only the default/generic vga controller was there.

Then re-ran the setup (Windows 7 64bit) and this is all I see, why?

The nvidia page shows my product is supported too:

GeForce 9600M GT

Above I posted as a guest the same issue, I had to install through the device manager.

How? I tried using the manual update via device manager, says "best driver already installed"

Uninstall the driver first, then install new 185.85!

I said I did that and it did not work

Once again, unininstalled via control panel, rebooted and

went directly to device manager. I see what's shown in

screenshot.

If I even uninstall THAT generic vga controller driver, then I cannot

install the nvidia manually because a hardware scan will end up

reinstalling either the MS provided nvidia driver or the generic vga

one again

I uninstalled the driver first, then I went to update driver, let me choose, have disk and sent it to the display folder where all the inf's are and it found the 9600M GT and I installed.

Thanks, ok now I have a huge list of inf files inside the display folder. How am I supposed to know which one to choose for my 9600M GT?

Nvidia's page doesn't tell me much.

I just sent it to the folder and selected open, I did not select a specific one it just found the right one.

Based on what this site's tutorial says, I selected "any inf" and then over 40 9600M GT options were

listed (along with over 100 other models). I did not know which to choose, but either 9600M GT

ones I chose gave me this warning
