Guest Gary
The 7600 Go has a 128 bits memory bus. It's the 7300 and 7400 that have a 64 bits wide bus. There are 2 versions of the 7600, one with 64bit memory and one with 128bit memory!

Fabrice Roux
No the 7600 has a 128 bits bus... if you want to check the Recommended driver thread it features all the specs.
Guest Guest
No the 7600 has a 128 bits bus... if you want to check the Recommended driver thread it features all the specs. So why does the Go7600 in my friends Toshiba P100 at stock only score 2,165 with 3dmark05? And even when overclocked to 450/500 it only scores 2,800. He has rivatuner installed and it says the 128mb memory on his Go7600 is 64bit.
Isaac Kenny Lee
i also having low score on 3dmark .. geforce go 7600 on my aspire 5684.. i attached the jpeg as acer downclocked the mem speed n it only utilised 64bit GDDR2 RAM
Guest Guest
i also having low score on 3dmark .. geforce go 7600 on my aspire 5684.. i attached the jpeg as acer downclocked the mem speed n it only utilised 64bit GDDR2 RAM Yeah that's what I thought, there is a Go7600 with a 64bit memory bus. 'Fabrice Roux' are you still saying there isn't?
Fabrice Roux
My statement is based on a kinda official page... from nVidia GeForce Go 7600 page. Which states that 7700, 7600 GT and 7600 use a 128 bits memory bus. Your screenshot leads only to one conclusion... Mental note: AVOID ACER LIKE THE PLAGUE. I can't believe that one OEM would castrate one GPU that bad...
mattias
is it really 128mb videomemory on your go7600 ? i thought go7600 only was with 256mb. if it is 128mb, maybe you cant come higher. trailmaker
Check this out: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForc...600.2144.0.html I'm surprised that I haven't found any official info related to this. It should have been on nvidia's site. If I knew this before I bought my laptop, I would have chosen another one...
Fabrice Roux
You should have quoted the important part: Caution: Some of the 128 MB equipped models offer only a 64 bit memory interface, which leads to drastic losses of performance. According to some messages the 256 MB version in Samsung R55 results only 3900 points in 3DMark03. This indicates a 64 bit memory bus. Which I read... some lame OEM use a castrated 7600 Go... stay away from those. Get the full blown 7600 GT Go. ps: it's like the 6600 / 6600 GT back in the days... erstens
First Test ever with the new Vaio FE31M is: 3D Mark 05: 2988 3D Mark 01SE: 17700 3D Mark06 has been running allready but it had no internet connection, but now has, so the result will follow... As I know, it has the 128bit Interface and 128MB Video RAM but could be possible that the GPU runs slower than the 450Mhz and the Mem slower tham 500Mhz but I will find out. MoRtYMer
Well just tested with a Asus A6T (Turion64 X2 1.6, 1Gb Ram, 7600Go(450/800 stock)) and got 3856 marks with 3DMark05.
Slifer
I tested with a 7600Go overclocked to 525/425 and got 4275 3DMarks. My card has 512 VRAM though.

Guest Viktor
Read: Hello! I have an MSI L735X with Turion 64 X2 TL52 (1.66 Ghz) and a Go 7600 256 MB (Default: Core: 450, Mem: 500). I am doing 4260 points in 3DMark05, with ease. With a little overclocking (500/600) I do 4870. Before I bought this machine I've read a lot about the card. There are more versions of the Go 7600. Mine has a 128 bit wide memory channel. But there are versions with only 64. Mine has clock speeds of Core:450 Mem:500, but others have lower. The cards with a 64 bit wide memory channel also have a reduced memory amount to 128 MB. Watch out, and ask before you buy! Guest Dominik
Hi (sry for bad english) I've buyd a Samsung R55 and was wondered about that bad performance :/ ( Geforce Go 7600/400Core Clock 266Ram Clock(64bit)) now i have read this threat and i'm pissed off about the builders. 1200 Euro are much of bucks for me. NemesisHunter
Mine is a GeForce Go 7600 256MB 128bit edition, and stock settings are clocked at 450/350. I would typically score around 2100-2300 at stock settings under 3DMark06 running at 1024x768, everything else on default. It nicely overclocks to 515/400 , and easily scores 2650-2720 now. That's a maximum of 29.5% performance boost. Impressive, no? I also changed drivers throughout time, I went from 84.63 stock settings (the 2100 score) to OC settings with the new 163.76 drivers for 2720.
