Tweedo
I need some helping upgrading the drivers for my video card. It is a GeForce Go 6800, and is for a Dell Inspiron 9300. I'm pretty new to customizing and upgrading my drivers, so any help would be appreciated. I'm looking more towards gaming optimization, as I would like to OC my video card. Basically what I'm looking for is a starting point for a Forceware Driver and modded INF that I could use, and then I could tweek from there. There is so much choice as to what to use that I'm pretty lost. Thanks so much for any help!

Fabrice Roux
Stick with Dell 84.30 they work like a charm... install NVTweak and enable Clock settings to access the overclock pannel. Give the driver autodetect max frequencies but do not Apply those settings on startup. To ease the overclocking process... going from normal clocks to high speed clocks can be a pain in the arse. Install RivaTuner and create 2 overclocking profiles, one for normal clocks one for the power mode. By default your rig will boot with default speed (which is good). When you need the extra power just launch RivaTuner and switch to the power profile. ps: my own 6800 default clocks are 290/590 and my power clocks are 375/760. (not the max but I don't have time to try further right now)
