ali3n8
Does anyone play World of Warcraft on this card using a Dell 1720. I have yet to find stable drivers and wondered if any other users with the same laptop and card are having issues and if they did have they been able to fix it? FierceEffect11
all these good improvements is inspiring me to finally try this out I'll see whats good. What would be high/dangerous levels for a cards temperature to be at? edit: playing crysis im getting temps 70-72, using 175.70 drivers, not sure where that falls in good/bad though Edited May 14, 2008 by FierceEffect11

Guest Reyz
Trying to play Age of Conan with this card 512mb version, I have yet to find a stable driver/game compatibility. So far I must have tried a dozen different drivers from the latest to some of the reputedly most stable, suggested on other posts in this and other forums, with varying lengths of gametime before client crashing. I'm not so interested by benchmarks as they're not really comparable to games. I'm just looking for the most stable driver compatible with this game. If anyone has a good suggestion, thanks in advance for your feedback. :)

amoney3
hi.. can i ask some questionsI did exactly as you did, but why i got lower score at 3dmark06 after i OC it... before OC i got like 4876 but after I OC it i got like 4600+.. anyone knows why? u need to find the "sweet spot" 3dmark06 can give you a lower score if the balance b/w memory and core isn't right. There's no set ratio between the two so you will have to find that by yourself.
Guest Guest
When i O/C my card to 613/1304/514, it'll be stable for most of the time, on rare occasions it will crash. Therefore, I tried lowering the clocks, and I found that by O/Cing to a lower clock like 600/1300/484, makes the system more unstable, this causes the driver to constantly crash. Can anyone explain this?
Guest aise
are these temperatures full load? my G1S with 8600M GT goes as high as 97C at full load (DeadSpace, FarCry2) then it starts to choke... it seems like it´s throttling but clocks don´t change... it seems my G1S has a very bad 8600 chip inside. going to RMA today. The poster you were referring to is also running 3dmark06 at a lower resolution than stock, so his numbers are not standardized and inflated a bit for the oc he is running at. You're using a laptop cooler to get that kind of OC right? If I even try those clock speeds (without a cooler), my m1530 will totally sh!t itself.
