Pawel
Horrible drivers, overclocking doesn't work at all and the dreaded restart nVidia Display Service restart bug is back. All was fine with the 84.25's :) *uninstalls and reverts back* Edited April 13, 2006 by Pawel

Guest Guest
Yes, doesn't overclock. Back to 84.21. There has to be a way to make it overclock!
xgman
Yes, doesn't overclock. Back to 84.21. they seem to be overclocking fro everyone at nvnews. they updated the file twice toady so maybe try d/l again.
Guest Thorndepth
There's a problem in Powermizer. I can only able to see and control the AC Outlet option but the Battery one is missing.
Guest Thorndepth
and also the overclocking is broken. I overclocked it to 370Mhz/770Mhz. I ran some program to check the real time Mhz, still shows the normal 290Mhz/592Mhz.
Chrysaor
I think broken overclock and powermizer is an issue with the new inf. I installed with v31.57 inf, overclock and powermizer worked fine.
alexandertyler
I'm having the same problems as above. Overclocking resets and powermizer bar for battery is missing. Later, Alex P.S. I had the same problems with 84.30. 84.25 works perfectly though so I'm going back! Pawel
ah, so the new driver has updated .inf information? hopefully the modded .inf here will be updated in due-time to work properly then. sn0wl
I didn't like this driver because of screen problems - whenever I change backlight level, cycle through computers powersaver profiles or plug/unplug power cord screen is screwed up for a second. Rolled back and it's normal now.
whitetigerx7
Great set of drivers. I've been using them for a few days now but I only had one issue. You may want to replace the nview.dll and nviewx.dll from a previous set like the 84.30s if you want to use both the Classic and New Control Panels. The 84.43 nview.dll and nviewx.dll had a slight bug which interferes with the Sedona Control Panel from the 84.30s (which is now actually stable and safe to use). If you don't use Sedona don't work about it. BTW I found a temporary workaround for the Overclocking issue. If you can't manually set or use the most optimal clock rate, try Automatic Overclocking. It's a bit safer and will still allow for higher clock rates when neccessary. I have my Ultimate Alienware INF updated already for these drivers. Check the Custom INF section for it. Kamika007z
Seems like shoddy drivers to me :-\ Personally I like the 84.21's :)
terror_adagio
Nothing shoddy about them. Works great here. The modded INF is the problem, just use the one from 84.25.
alexandertyler
Can we please get a revised INF using the 84.25 INF updated with the 84.43 version number? Thanks in advance, Alex :) :) UPDATE: I just modded the 84.25 INF with the 84.43 version number and everything works fine now. OOPS! I just saw you gave us a new modded INF, thanks! -- Alex P.S. I've included the remoded INF here. nv4_disp.inf Edited April 15, 2006 by alexandertyler@yahoo.com
mobilenvidia
I've made some modifications to this INF now v31.65. Made the Co-intaller just like 84.25 (I tried to make it like 84.30) probably biggest change. Remved DetectPowerSource setting from INF added with 84.30, might be powermizer or Overclock problem. Give it a whirl and hopefully report back with good news. :)
