mobilenvidia
Just woke to a rainy day. I'll get onto this ASAP. Use the 81.84 INF if you can't wait, they'll be very similar. :)
mobilenvidia
There is a 'Mobile' driver on the FTP as well, a bery first for nVidia. You can grab it here : ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81.85/8...ternational.exe I havn't looked at it yet, this is exiting stuff. [uPDATE] This is for the go7800 GTX only !! This looks like a Clevo driver for their new models. You could force an install and it should work for us lappies.
Maier
Tried this one with the 81.84 inf, same poor performance for my notebook :) , FS m3438g. I hope this will change for the next driver
Kamika007z
Anyone look into the files and see if the mobile driver set is the same exact match as the regular ones? If not, I'll take a look into it later.

Guest Guest
Can someone fix TNT 2 support on the modded inf ? They don't install. Thanks
mobilenvidia
Can someone fix TNT 2 support on the modded inf ? They don't install. Thanks Done. nVidia don't support the TNT range any longer. So the INF should work, but I can't guarantee it. Would be good to see f it does. v31.00+ will have TNT and Crush support. For ALI chipset suppport you'll need to copy ALIGART.SYS into the Forceware directory manually before installing (as nVidia no longer include it) Enjoy. Athanis
Just to say that this driver solved my problems with Tiger Woods 06 (missing textures). I will keep it for a while. :)
gevo
Hello All. I am new to here and i have a geforce go 6800 with 256mb. I saw the mobile drivers on Nvidia site and i was very excited. But when i saw that it only supports the geforce 7800 i was dissapointed. But i have question : can Pieter change the mobile drivers ( the mobile version of the 81.85) inf for us,so that we can try the new mobile drivers. because I THINK THE HEAT ISSUE MUST BE TESTED . so the new mobile drivers MAY have lower temps. Can you try it Pieter?
City Cobra
Hi, i testet the 81.85 also on my Amilo 3438 with Geforce 6800 go. Positiv: The scaling bug is fixed. Negativ: 2789 Points in 3Dmark2003, with driver 78.11 i have 9004 Points. I dont can play Battlefield 2 with this performance. I think the 81 Series isnt compatible with Geforce 6800go. @mobilenvidia Please can you fix the Pal-B save bug in your Inf file. Every restart it is be back at NTSC-M. Can you try it Pieter? The only difference between the Desktop version and Mobile is the INF. The mobile version has a few files missing that arn't needed. So the files are identical, and behave identical. There is no such thing as a Mobile driver as the INF determines what GPU's are included. Hope this explains it. mobilenvidia
I couldn't answer as I was working on it. Not sure what to do here may have to give you a tweak to play with your self. I'll just dig it up. Patience young apprentice, these things take time and your not forgotten about :)
mobilenvidia
City Cobra, Made an updated INF with Video Output tweak. Give it awhirl. If it doesn't work look in the registry for NvCplAllowedTVFormats Change the value of this and various outputs will be disabled/enabled. It is a bit enabled tweak. Try to just have PAL-B left, may take a while You can just keep doing it without rebooting just reopen the Video control panel after each change. The value of 0xfff is everything enabled 0 is nothing I think have a play Enjoy, this will keep you busy for a while :) nv4_disp.inf

Set NvCplAllowedTVFormats to 4 this will only allow B-PAL to be selected. When I try it after a reboot the machine doesn't go back to Clone mode and is back in Single mode. And when I change it back to Clone it has forgotten the Output format and is back to M-NTSC. With the above value forced to 4 it will only allow B-PAL to be selected. Try this, I don't think it will work as the laptop defaults back to Single mode after reboot. What may help, I have an option in my BIOS to select PAL or NTSC as output. If you have this set to PAL Hope this helps.
Guest speaker
mobilenvidia-nice job with these drivers :) my 6800 ultra likes these PE 81.
City Cobra
@mobilenvidia I will try your Inf again. But it works with original Amilo 3438 Inf file, maybe you find the error in your inf with Amilo 3438 Inf file? nvuw.INF
Maier
Synthetic benches mean nothing. Its the games that matter. The 81.xx are the fastest for my 6600 Go 128mb. It isnt the synthetic benches, fear runs @ 15fps normaly this is about 50. BW2 runs @ 1fps :) so in games the latest drivers isnt good for a FS m3438g. other 6800go's are running good with this driver
