Galdere
I much prefer Fallout 3 to Oblivion. Alan Wake looks excellent, but not sure when it might be released. Empire : Total War is not long off and I'm hoping that will perform well.

I'm not into my stragety games, I mainly play adventure or fps.
Guest Guest
Can I use this driver on my GeForce 8600M GT? (Mobile PC)
Dox
yes it does. I also like to report that there is no graphical corruption with the performance setting of my drivers in GTA IV with the latest patch. so for those who want the best performance in that game, dont be shy in trying out the performance setting of my drivers :)

bluekey
Hi Dox and everybody, I am new to this forum. I just bought a laptop with Hybrid SLI 9800m GTS. Unfortunately there are lots of problem with hybrid SLI driver. Currently i am using 179.32. I cant even run 3DMark Vantage with this driver. Is 9800m GTS SLI support in your customized forceware 181.22? Thanks
Dox
9800MGTS is supported as for SLI I'm not 100% sure since I dont have SLI. But there is no reason for it not to. Are you refering to hybrid sli or SLI 9800MGTS? These are based on desktop drivers and specific functions such as hybrid sli may not work compared to drivers provided to you by your manufacturer. Guest caspersghost
There might be a simple solution as I'm a bit of a noob at this, but using windows areo theme, the sceen shakes when opening and closing windows under these drivers. Any suggestions?
Dox
strange Im on vista and dont have this issue. what do you mean it shakes? Any more details on your laptop specs???
bluekey
Thanks.. I have checked NVIDIA website. I think mine is Hybrid SLI which uses 9800mGTS. I try to install "GeForce Release 179 for Notebooks" from NVidia website and it wont install. Later I found out that i got to wait for upcoming release as this driver not compatible. Now I am stuck... :) :) I will try and do more research on hybrid SLI ....

Guest Lemmy
Hey Docx, Just some bugs to address and help out. System: Windows 7 Latest Beta release 8600m GT T9300 4gb ram Dell XPS M1530 Installed Docx Recommended option. Problems: -I sometimes see some 1x1 Inch Square Discolored Blotches on the screen from time to time. -Also got the BSOD once in first day of installation. -3dmark06 default clocks gave me 4919 -After putting to sleep it won't wake up. Except for the minor problems it runs well for performance.
Guest lezzard
Nice drivers Dox :) BTW I found a problem with my Inspiron 1420 (8400M GS), after installing these drivers the side fan gets crazy, it runs at max for like 5 seconds, then it stops for a moment and again runs at max for another 5 secs. I had to go back to nvidia's cause it was getting on my nerves :)
Guest lezzard
Oh nevermind! The new A10 BIOS revision (with Video BIOS embedded) fixed that, but after 5-10 minutes of gaming the screen freezes or goes black. That sound a lot like overheating but I've checked and the temps are good :) weird Anyway good job on these drivers they perform very well. Guest caspersghost
It's hard to explain, but on the bottom half of the screen, whenever I open or close a file it shakes, and I can see the sidebar momentarialy on the other side of the screen. It only happens with windows areo which work no problems with the default factory drivers on the machines recovery disc. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers a few times and still the same thing. I have a XPS m1710 2gb w/ 7950gtx
Dox
guest lemmy windows 7 I never said these were for windows 7 especially a beta :) as for 3D mark 06 you said yourself it runs well, so whats the problem that a synthetic benchmark is lower? I never check my 3D marks when I mod drivers, only real games :)
